2nd Update on Incident at 12313 Bellaire #H
Charges have been filed against four suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 12313 Bellaire #H about 11:55 p.m. on May 13, 2007.
The victim, Jian Guo Wang, 54, of 9201 Clarewood #358, sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.
Christian Calderon (H/m, DOB: 2-10-90), Fernando Santacruz Gomez (H/m, DOB: 5-30-83), Eric Gomez (H/m, DOB: 4-10-87) and a female juvenile have been charged with capital murder in the 232nd State District Court.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and Officer R. Chappell reported:
Mr. Wang was working at the Kung Fu Club game room when multiple suspects entered the business with the intent to rob the patrons. Mr. Wang was involved in a confrontation and was shot by one of the suspects. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money. Investigators have learned that the suspects may be responsible for other robberies in the area prior to this shooting.
