Incident at 2501 Westridge #195
The fatal stabbing of a man at 2501 Westridge #195 about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday (March 17) is expected to be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The male victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. The female suspect, Brittany Taylor, 20, was not seriously injured.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Walker and A. Semmelrock reported:
According to Taylor, a verbal altercation occurred between her and the male victim. The male victim was stabbed multiple times after he assaulted her, threatened her life and refused her plea to allow her to leave the residence.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages, but at this time it appears the stabbing was in self-defense.
